Garden Ceremonies

For the perfect country wedding, Bezalel Estate has created a Modern English garden with lavender, roses, hedges, herbs and luscious trees. It is designed in symmetry and is ideal for a garden ceremony.

The bride will walk in on a red carpet placed on the central path, past the guests that will be seated on covered chairs on the sides, to meet her groom under the Asian influenced Pagoda, surrounded by white roses and water streams.

The surrounding scenery is sublime and the setting makes for excellent photo opportunities during and after the ceremony. If you choose a garden wedding, you can have your reception in the Cellar Style Venue or under Canvas in the spacious garden itself.

The garden can accommodate up to 300 guests for the ceremony and the adjoining lawns provide more than enough room for tented receptions under the spectacular Green Kalahari sky.

The trees in our garden provide plenty of shade, but the Northern Cape sun can be pretty unforgiving. Two white stretch tents can be erected over your guests’ seating for additional protection and comfort.
