Bezalel Estate has the facilities to offer plated menus for up to 80 guests. So if you’re having a nice intimate garden wedding or making use of our Cellar Style Venue, you can add that defining touch, by having your meal served on beautifully presented plates.

All the required cutlery, crockery, glassware and staff are included with your Venue Cost.

Here are a few example menus for plated meals. *Please remember that all our menus are fully customisable and you are by no means restricted to the choices set out below.

Plated Menu Example #1

Chilled butternut and ginger cappuccino served as a starter.

Spiced beef fillet served with mushroom bread and butter pudding, roasted beetroot, baby marrow and carrot ribbons. Topped with a Brandy and pink peppercorn cream.

Vanilla pod panna cotta served with brûléed pineapple and a gooseberry coulis.

 

Plated Menu Example #2 (4 course meal)

Roasted butternut, fresh spinach with feta salad and pecan nuts, drizzled with a pink peppercorn dressing.

Moroccan Lamb Cutlets served with mushroom risotto, buttered greens, roasted peppers, crisp potatoes and a mint jus.

Followed by Italian Tiramisu and cinnamon tuile, with Kalua syrup.

Assorted cheese, biscuit, fresh fruit and preserve platter served with Bezalel Esate’s rarest dessert wine.

 

Plated Menu Example #3

Baked biltong & cheddar tart with red onion & balsamic marmalade.

Lamb loin with a apricot & nut crust, chicken breast stuffed with peppadew & spinach and wrapped in phyllo, buttered fine beans, cardamom carrots and creamy polenta with a Rooibos jus.

Malva with amarula ice cream placed on a coffee & chocolate cremé anglaise, served with Bezalel Estate’s smooth Coffee Liqueur.
